Every day you have the choice to choose life and blessing or death and cursing. Even the smallest choices impact whether you are heading towards God’s life and blessing, or are drifting towards the world’s death and cursing.
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Part of God’s goodness is found in how much He works things for your good, even when you are basically fighting Him.
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” (James 1:13-14)
“Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” (Romans 2:4)
